princess sparkle pants

A little difficult posing, so I switch locations ;)

John's pretty proud of his bling!  Sorry for the bling zoom!

Pants:  Victoria's Secret  (also in shorts)/(currently crushing these)  |  Top:  Banana Republic (on sale!)  |  Jacket:  TJ Maxx (old) - similar  |  Watch:  Kate Spade  |  Bracelets:  Gorjana & Lola  |  Clutch:  deux lux  |  Heels:  Nine West (old) - similar

{I also rocked the sparkle pants for an ugly sweater party with my girlfriends}

I started to channel my NYE outfits and these gorge sequin leggings from VS popped into my head!  Although I'm not wearing them on NYE (John's probably excited because he LOVES them {not}) - I am wearing another pair (just wait to see tomorrow - I'm excited)!  John and I have been prepping all day for our "bash"!  OK really it's only a few couples and friends coming over  for snacks and drinks - we'll see if we make it to midnight! ;-)  I can't wait to share some photos with you come January 1, 2015!  What are your favorite items that you plan on wearing for NYE!?!?!

leopard - plaid - stripes

Molly was an onlooker!  She's John's mom's Wheaton Terrier and so sweet and snuggly!

...and no, I didn't steal her...

Top:  Loft  |  Vest:  J. Crew  |  Jeans:  Banana Republic  |  Flats:  Madewell  |  Scarf:  Target  |  Bag:  Michael Kors  |  Watch:  Michael Kors (old) - similar here  |  Necklace:  TJ Maxx - similar here  |  Earrings:  Banana Republic  |  Bracelet:  Gorjana

Hello!  I've missed this!  I've been delayed with postings/photo shoots because I haven't even had a moment to sit these past couple of weeks AND John's and my schedule have not lined up AT ALL...well until Christmas in CT!  So, thanks for being patient with me and waiting for me to get back on track!  It was a bit sunnier (and warmer) than usual, so I jumped at the chance to get some shots in!  I packed about 7-10 outfits so just deal!

Christmas Eve we FT home to see the chaos of my family unwrapping Christmas presents.  My 3 nieces received bee keeper outfits to help my Dad with his honey bees.  My nephew, Colin thought they were storm troopers - cue the music! ;)  Colin also received a Nerf gun - he's THREE - he was wild and crazy with it!

Christmas Day we stayed alllll day in our jammies which was ah-mazing - oh and exchanged gifts!  John and I planned on exchanging gifts at home, but we did bring a small gift to exchange together on Christmas.  I purchased a new NY Yankees hat for him and he surprised me with tickets to a musical at an old theater!  It was an enjoyable day, with movies, lounging and even a nap!  After driving home Friday night I was looking forward to hunkering down in my pjs, having hot cocoa (with Amaretto of course!) and relaxing at home sans driving!  I gave John a few items for the track - a wagon to carry the necessities and a couple of tables (I'll take pictures this summer).  I also gave him a shaving kit and binoculars (for our hiking and sporting events)!  AND John gave me a fancy CAMERA! EEEEEKKKK!!! I'm excited to learn all about it and break it in SOON!  Things should definitely improve with blog photos {cross fingers}.

Well, I hope your Christmas with your loved ones was just as enjoyable!

Holiday Card

Merry (belated) Christmas friends!  Above is our Christmas card (unsent :-/)....long story!  However, I wanted to share with you the great design my friend, Ruby from Laurel & Marie had created for me {check out her Etsy page}!  She has done so much for me, from our wedding invitations to the blog and now our Christmas card!  I'm looking forward to our next project we may tackle!

So...Merry (belated) Christmas!
