bubbles

Blouse:  French Connection (similar here)  |  Shorts:  J.Crew Factory  |  Sweater:  TJ Maxx (similar here)  |  Hat:  BR  |  Sandals:  Jack Rogers  |  Necklace:  Boutique (similar here)  |  Bag:  RM  |  Rings:  1/2  |  Watch:  KS  |  Bracelets:  1/2/3

I love this poppy blouse (or that's what I consider it)!  It's super fun and flirty, but can go from day, work and night!  I paired this with a shorts instead of denim or white pants...I probably wear sun dresses more than I wear shorts during summer.  I feel as though shorts are tough, the length and fit are always difficult.  I've found that an inch or two longer helps along with going a size up!  That always helps and it doesn't make you ride up in the middle of your legs, plus it's just so much more comfortable.  We're women of different shapes and sizes and the size of our pants/shorts shouldn't be what we feel is supposed to be our size - it should be based on comfort!

I wanted to loop you in to the weekend we spent on LI in one of two posts  We had a great time from seeing the ducks, having oysters on the chilly day before wine touring and then of course celebrating Pierce and Ashley's engagement!  It was my first time out on LI and I can't wait to go back!!!...perhaps next time to the SoFo (don't you love my lingo that I've picked up)?!  I could be a local! ;)  No, but really, we stayed out on the North Fork for the weekend - specifically in Riverhead/Aquebogue.  We had a chill night Friday and the drive in wasn't too bad, I actually may want to ferry out next time so we can relax and enjoy a sunset view!  Saturday we got up and grabbed brunch before heading out to pick up Ashley at work in Greenport!  From there we went out to North Fork Oysters - SO yummy!  Even better with games and a little champs!  From there we headed out to a couple of wineries that were so great - I can't wait to go back!  I loved trying the different kinds of bubbles - it's really crazy that you don't really see LI wines in stores, but yet, you see so many upstate NY wines in different locations.  LI wines were by far way better for sure!  Make sure you plan a winery tour out on LI sometime soon - I'm sure the late summer/early fall is super fun!
