long island rain

Sweater:  Gap  |  Jeans:  Gap  |  Boots:  Hunter  |  Vest:  J. Crew Factory (similar here)  |  Hat:  Everything but Water  |  Bracelets:  1/2/3  |  Watch:  KS  |  Sunnies:  Ray-Ban

I've gotten a lot of use out of my Hunter's this summer.  It's been raining off and on each week!  They've been super useful.  I was sure to bring my wellies out to the Long Island Duck Farm.  It was so fun to get a tour (and drink wine while doing so)!  I learned that to call the ducks, you don't say "peep, peep, peep", you say "bop, bop, bop"!  It's way too funny and cute and I loved holding them.  In order to transition into the fall/winter season, I've also been eyeing these duck boots....

Sunday we had a wonderful afternoon exploring more of Long Island, but the real treat was the gorgeous engagement party for Pierce and Ashley!  I would have taken more pictures but I completely doused myself with a glass full of cider - hey! it was literally my first one - so I was stuck back at the house fixing my error, thus why there aren't any friends and family photos...wahhh!  However, the food was divine (and it kept coming!), the cider was delicious and the company was fabulous!  It truly was wonderful to come together to celebrate Pierce and Ashley!

I just have to go back to the South Fork and eat some LI bagels...oh and more wineries!  Can't wait! ;)

This was such a cute way to show and give a favor!  Sweet, simple and something you can keep in your home!

The cider was yummy - I preferred the Ginger Cider!
