Yet another lull on C&C (go figure)...all thanks to getting hit twice with two different illnesses that wiped me out.  I've had a couple of shoots done, but I did not get around to editing for quite some time.  That and we've been packing or pulled away on home items.  However, I've been lucking out with a few new items that I've recently (and reluctantly) added to my closet...reluctantly because I know it's just a few more things that I know I'll have to move this weekend.  Yes!  We're closing on a house Friday and we couldn't be more excited!  I'll obviously keep you looped in and share with you the home progress/design and plans, but for now we're just looking forward to getting out of our jungle of boxes in the apartment!  So I'll leave it at that for now.

Any-who I've been working on several blog posts and I hope that because we'll be sitting in our apartment without a few items this coming weekend that I can get a few more things accomplished and back on track with the blog.  This was one of the first things I came around to purchasing because I noticed my shirts and blouses were becoming just a mass of white shirts.  I needed to switch it up and add a few prints and although I've stayed away from buffalo plaid shirts, I thought the smaller gingham was a little more pleasant on my figure.  I'm glad I picked this up and was able to get it in a larger size and in a tall so I could wear it under crew knits and layer it up for the fall.

ALSO!  I had a couple of gift cards to a local boutique and I was excited to find a delicate, but layered necklace to add to my many other delicate necklaces - ha!  I did try to get something different - like this, but I just couldn't convince myself and I figured I'd wait until I found the right one.  It shouldn't be a problem since I obviously love to shop - way too much!

Once settled in I hope to bring back the 'Corks' portion of the blog and bring you up to speed on some of the fun wines I've been finding!  :)
